Terms of service

What this service is

Chinese Zodiac Element (chinesezodiacelement.com) offers readings based on traditional Chinese culture, for entertainment and self-reflection. Charts are calculated by a fixed program and readings are written with AI assistance. We do not claim to predict the future, and readings should not be used for important decisions about health, money, law or relationships. Please talk to a qualified professional for those.

How readings are made

Calendar conversion and the four parts of your birth moment are calculated by a fixed program, never guessed by AI.
Interpretations come from a reviewed set of rules; the AI only puts them into plain language.
The AI does not change your birth details or invent information that was not calculated.
We use the traditional solar-term calendar with Beijing time as the reference and no true-solar-time correction. Decade and yearly forecasts are not offered.

Points

Points are charged per reading — not per word or per message.
Filling in missing details, checking a question's scope, and retries after a failure are free.
Reopening a reading you own is always free. Today's reading is charged once per day.
Points can only be used on this site and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

What we will never claim

That anything in your life is certain to happen.
That we are a human fortune teller, or that paying will remove bad luck.
Any particular accuracy rate.

Changes

Prices may change over time, but orders you already placed keep the price you saw. Readings you already own stay yours after any update.
